The Business Performance Intelligence function within the Global Customer Care team has enabled a strong data capability model across the organisation to leverage data-driven decision making across all aspects of Parts and Accessories Revenue performance and Customer Satisfaction. The role is part of the Retail Performance Intelligence team, our aim is to integrate data-driven insight into our operations to drive highly bespoke and predictive customer service.
Duties
- Insight generation: Use a strong pool of information from 1700 retailers worldwide to combine data from multiple sources, generate new insights, identify correlations of events/activities, and inform future action plans at retailer and market level.
- Customer Retention analytics: Own the calculation of the retention metric, ensuring global consistency and leading the development of increasingly insightful ways to measure customer retention.
- Product development: As the RPI Intelligence lead, own the “Ideas hopper” generated from feedback across regions and markets, working with TCS, Systems, and Data teams to ensure on-time delivery of agreed items.
- Project management: Apply a methodical approach to deliver stakeholder requirements on time, advance data capabilities with retail transactional data, and facilitate integration activities to improve user journey integrations.
- Other tasks: Monitor, report, and provide trends and achievements at market level. Develop intelligence briefs for the RPI team based on our internal Retailer Benchmarking tool.
Key Performance Indicators
- Insight generation: identify data-driven insights and opportunities to drive Revenue and Customer Satisfaction at regional and market level.
- Quarterly development of opportunities via the Intelligence tools/funnel to share with the Retail Performance Intelligence team.
- Document and cascade market feedback for product and intelligence requirements.
- Identify intelligence best practice based on results from agreed opportunities and present to relevant forums.
- Develop roadmap to achieve insight generation based on transactional data.
- On-time retention reporting and enhancement of the metric insights.
- Product ownership: identify and document opportunities to simplify tools and processes (e.g., low-performing activities) and present to relevant forums.
- Ultimate success measure is P&A revenue and customer satisfaction improvement for identified underperforming retailers.

- Data visualization: knowledge of tools and techniques for visualising business insights and information; ability to create graphs, tables, images that relay the message clearly. Knowledge of key tools such as Tableau.
Desirable:
- Sound understanding of retailer processes acquired through automotive or luxury retail experience.
Personal Profile
Essential:
- Ability to bridge gaps between technical and business communities with clear, tailored communication.
- Demonstrable experience working with customers to understand problem statements and translating them for delivery teams.
- Develop customer-centric user stories aligned to product features and products.
- Excellent attention to detail and eye for Tableau dashboard artistry (colour, contrast, layout, interactivity) and innovative visuals.
- Previous experience with various data management tools (e.g., BigQuery, EDW).
- Project management experience.
Desirable:
- Agile delivery background with working knowledge of JIRA.
- Understanding of predictive profiling.
- Working knowledge of Tableau, Anaplan, SQL, Google BigQuery.
- Ability to challenge existing thinking positively while building credibility and trust.
