As the Agile & Forecasting Engineer you will support the Lead Agile and Forecasting Engineer in planning, monitoring, supporting, and closing out projects within the test laboratory. You will support the forecasting and quantifying of programme workload associated with the laboratory with short-medium and long-term forecasts.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a robust and standardised forecasting model for EE/EV labs that is compatible across BTO.
  • Use PDL inputs to understand programme feature content.
  • Support the creation of a forecasting model based upon programme content and scalability linked to testing requirements in EE/EV labs.
  • Ensure EE/EV labs are using our client's enterprise Agile methods.
  • Support the creation of a JIRA Portfolio Plan for EE/EV labs linked to E and EO strategic themes and deliverables.
  • Support the delivery of an operational cadence to ensure EE/EV lab deliverables are managed via Agile toolsets (JIRA/Confluence) and Tasks and Impediments are progressed as required across our client's Enterprise.
  • Support the management of EE/EV labs ABR/QBR requirements and cadence linked to EO/E strategic themes.
  • Be part of a small dynamic team.

Skills Required:

  • Experience of Agile tools and methods and operational cadence across our client's enterprise.
  • Knowledge of Programme feature content and gateway timings.

Experience Required:

  • Experience using Atlassian toolsets for Agile operations (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Knowledge of PCDS process.
  • Ability to work with key Stakeholders and technical areas across Engineering to understand feature linkage to test requirements.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Systems and associated test facilities.

Experience Preferred:

  • Project Management Qualification.
  • Scrum or Kanban training as well as JIRA training.

This role is INSIDE IR35.
