Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

Rate: £35.80ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £26.68ph on a PAYE basis

Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until March 2027)

Position Description: Experienced 3D artist with expert knowledge of 3D tools & Animation, able to convert design visions into working developed models that are optimised and ready for software implementation. You will be collaborating with software and design teams, acting as the go‑between to realise the creative vision while maintaining technical accuracy and creative standards. You’ll have the ability to create models suitable for real‑time animation and usage, as well as highly polished visual renders for use in various applications. Previous experience within a games developer or 3D production house creating products or vehicles.

Skills:

  • Proficient in modelling tools: Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, Unreal Engine
  • Proficient in rendering (e.g., Vray, VRED)
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Experience as a 3D designer, including 3D modelling for real-time engines
  • Understanding of system limitations and optimisation of real‑time models
  • 3D animation, UV mapping, texture creation & shader development
  • Understanding of VFX and fundamentals/limitations of game engines
  • Familiarity with GLTF and file troubleshooting
  • Competent at rigging, modelling, optimisation and animating 3D assets
  • High‑quality portfolio with examples of your work and methods
  • Attention to detail and enthusiasm to work alongside designers and developers to achieve world‑class results in luxury vehicles

Education: Degree‑level qualification or equivalent in a related area (Design / Games, etc.)

IR35: This position is confirmed inside IR35.
