Key Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support ISS clients to improve the safe use of Display Screen Equipment across ISS GPA contracts and support them in meeting their legal obligations. By managing DSE management systems, completing DSE assessments and supporting users throughout the DSE journey.

Key areas of Collaboration
- Key client stakeholders within Government Integrated Corporate Services.
- Operational Management Team – (GISS, GPA & Client) across multiple sites.
- HSEQ lead on the GPA account.
- DSE operators/users at all levels – with key government departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the management of online DSE assessments for office, home/remote workers using client DSE management system.
- Reviewing completed self-assessments and identifying equipment needs.
- Carrying out F2F and remote assessments (via Teams).
- Providing relevant, practical advice and guidance, e.g., on workstation set‐up, posture, the importance of micro‐movement breaks etc.
- Deliver clear high‐quality reports with practical recommendations.
- Advice on latest best practice and changes to legislation relating to DSE use.
Key Experience
- Excellent knowledge of DSE user best practice.
- A strong understanding of ergonomic principles.
- Comfortable conducting remote assessments by Teams.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Robust collaborative and communicative team skills, with the ability to influence and persuade without any direct line management.
- A passion for HSEQ and the ability to inspire a culture where HSEQ is an embedded part of everyday operations.
- NEBOSH general certificate & DSE risk assessors' certificate.
Candidate role will include
- Complete DSE Assessments for Government departments using their internal system Awaken.
- All of the employees who work for the client do their own assessments through the Awaken system, then any issues flagged on the system the DSE Assessor (candidate) will do a follow up via Teams and put suggestions in place for line managers to action.
- Customer service experience is required due to the nature of the role – candidates must have patience, understanding, and confidence dealing with civil servants.
- Occupational Health or Health and Safety background preferred.
- Training will be provided alongside the job role once started.

- Temp to perm role.
- Candidates must pass SC Clearance once they move to a permanent position – if candidates do not think they would pass SC Clearance or are not willing to undergo it, then they are not suitable for the role and should not be proposed.
- Candidates must have evidence of a completed BPSS Report or Enhanced DBS for this role.
- DSE Risk Assessor Certification – if the candidate does not have this currently, the client has confirmed that certification can be completed upon starting the role. The client will reimburse the cost of the DSE Risk Assessor Course in full upon completion of the probation period once working as a permanent member of staff.
