Job Title: Lead Quality Engineer Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire Rate: £33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.26ph PAYE Employment Type: Contract (12 months) Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week Reference: J35959778 Job Description: This role involves leading all aspects related to Vehicle Structures Quality, including problem resolution for in-field Vehicle Line Activities, monitoring quality systems, and driving design improvements and model year updates. The goal is to meet targets across all areas, ultimately contributing to the delivery of quality targets for each vehicle line. Key Performance Indicators: Warranty R/1000, A/1000 IQM project resolution metrics PR AIMS metrics White Alerts, Grey Alerts DFMEA metrics Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Lead quality improvements within Vehicle Structures, including updates and control of DFMEA & DRBFMs according to corporate metrics. Manage Recurrence AIMS, including creation, acceptance, delivery, and resolution. Lead Failure Mode Avoidance activities within Structures. Drive vehicle structure improvements related to warranty, R/1000, A/1000, TGW, White Alerts, Grey Alerts. Support the Lead Service Engineer in resolving vehicle Technical Assistance (TA) queries. Oversee the resolution of Engineering Owned Vehicle Structures IQM Projects. Communicate new requirements and rules to the team. Lead Lessons Learned processes, ensuring reviews, feedback, risk analysis, and resolution plans are robust and timely. Ensure robust control and review of all vehicle structures in accordance with Way Processes. Support team requirements releases and design rules in 3DEx Total Requirements Management (TRM).
