Job Description:
The role of 3D Designer is creatively responsible translating the brand identity vision across physical objects, covering a broad range of aspects, including but not limited to, vehicle detail design, off vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment and collections and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3D solutions.
- Create and implement 3Dimensional design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position.
- Able to take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions.
- Stakeholder Management across interdependent design functions.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent 3D design experience gained in agency and corporate settings.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3D context.
- Sensitivity to form and function.
- Knowledge of production, manufacturing and material processes.
- Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – alias, blender, rhino.
- Realtime rendering capability in Keyshot or similar.
- Unreal Engine experience preferable.
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
- Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment.
