As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with a variety of needs within their own homes. Every day is different, but your role will focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, and ensuring our service users feel valued, respected, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with medication administration
- Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
- Helping with household tasks and maintaining a safe environment
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting individuals to attend appointments and access the community
- Encouraging independence and choice in daily activities
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
- Following care plans, policies, and procedures at all times
