Contract: Permanent, full time contract.

Hours: 35 hours per week (1 FTE)

Salary: £30,000- £34,000

Location: Anchored to the Cardiff Carers Trust office 1-2 days a week. We are open to flexible working options.

Are you passionate about improving young carers support? Help us launch the Fair Futures for Young Carers programme in Wales. At Carers Trust we are building a brand new schools initiative and laying the foundations for stronger support for young carers across the nation.

We are looking for a Programme Officer with a real commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion to co‐produce and pilot a new school‐focused programme tailored specifically for Wales.

As the postholder:

  • You will work closely with local services and schools to promote the programme across Wales.
  • You will help ensure all resources are accessible in both English and Welsh.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential.
