Hours: 37 Hours per week
Location: This is a hybrid role which involves community working in the Lincoln/Gainsborough area of Lincolnshire and some home working. You must be able to support carers face to face in the North Kesteven, Lincoln and West Lindsey area.
Carers First is a charity that works directly with, and for unpaid carers, providing personalised information, advice and tailored support making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest.
About this role:
- Managing conversations with carers to identify need
- Writing statutory carers assessments on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council
- Providing information, advice, and wellbeing support
- Running wellbeing groups and pro-active identification of carers through partnership working
About you:
- Experience of working with adults either in a 1:1 or group setting
- A working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs and to complete statutory assessments
