We are aiming to speak with skilled & experienced Family Support Workers, ready & able to assist with a varied load of cases, all with varied complexities. Our Workers will be expected to provide knowledge, experience, assistance & support in order to maintain a safe & stable family environment, with the wellbeing of our Young People at heart.
The Service users may be subjected to some/all of the below risk factors:
- Domestic Abuse
- Substance Abuse
- Absent Guardians
- Living With Disabilities
- Communication Barriers/ Non English Speakers
- County Lines
Our aim is to bridge the gap between care & service, meaning that we will fully entrust in yourself to provide the appropriate care to our Young People, & in turn you can ensure you have a team working solely on your behalf, to ensure your service expectations are met at our end. Conflict resolution is crucial to this role. We need to ensure our workers are solution driven, with great communication skills, in order to maintain a calm, professional & caring approach, whilst in hostile situations & environments. You may be required to demonstrate to parents how things should be done, then support them until they can do these things on their own.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Valid UK Right To Work with 12+ Months Experience in a similar role
- Full CV inc. Employment History (Any Breaks Longer Than 2 Weeks Must be Accounted For)
- Enhanced DBS (Vulnerable Childrens & Adults), Registered on the Update Service. (Carepro will aim to assist with this, should you have any difficulty).
- Five Years Practical Reference History
