Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency? Have you got the experience needed to excel in the Health and Social-care environment? If you answered yes to those questions, then we at CarePath Recruitment want you!
We are looking for calm, patient and hardworking individuals with a friendly disposition who are keen to join our friendly care team. You will be expected to provide care at a high standard in order to help the residents and ensure that you are always there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential for this role, as the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting is the primary factor.
You will have the maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
Previous experience and any relevant qualifications in care are preferred; however, they are not essential as full training, including online e-learning, is available through our preferred training academy.
We ask that you are flexible and able to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-in shifts, and waking watches. The care that we provide is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we require good flexibility in being able to cover a mixture both during the week and weekends. However, we will always try to find you work according to your availability.
You will have the opportunity to undertake the responsible role of being a Support Worker/Care Assistant. This will enable you to plan alongside members of the personβs circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations. Our person-centred planning meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach. Together we set meaningful and inspirational goals, which Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards. This will provide you with a great experience to develop skills that can underpin a successful career in adult social care.
We offer competitive hourly rates, annual leave entitlement, ongoing training, and scope for permanent opportunities with some temp roles after a qualifying period.
