Support Workers & Care Assistants We Want You!
Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency? If you have the experience to excel in the Health and Social-care environment, Carepath Recruitment would like to hear from you.
You will be expected to provide care at a high standard to help residents, and be there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential; the primary factor is the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting.
Responsibilities
You will have the maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
Previous experience and any relevant qualifications in care are preferred but not essential, as full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
You should be flexible to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-in shifts and waking watches. Our care is provided 24/7, so flexibility to cover during the week and weekends is required. We will strive to assign work according to your availability.
You will have the opportunity to undertake the role of Support Worker/Care Assistant, planning with members of the person’s circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and to achieve their wishes and aspirations. Our person-centred planning meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach. We set meaningful and inspirational goals, which Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards. This will provide you with a great experience to develop skills for a career in adult social care.
