Overview
Support Workers & Care Assistants We Want You! Are you looking to join a prestigious Health & Social-care agency? If you have the experience to excel in the Health and Social-care environment, Carepath Recruitment would like to hear from you. You will be expected to provide care at a high standard to help residents, and be there for them. Experience is preferred but not essential; the primary factor is the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard in a positive behavioural support setting.
Responsibilities
- You will have the maturity to work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, handle stress, and grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
- You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
- Previous experience and any relevant qualifications in care are preferred but not essential, as full training including online e-learning is available through our preferred training academy.
- You should be flexible to cover a mixture of days, nights, sleep-in shifts and waking watches.
- Our care is provided 24/7, so flexibility to cover during the week and weekends is required.
- You will have the opportunity to undertake the role of Support Worker/Care Assistant, planning with members of the person’s circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy and to achieve their wishes and aspirations.
- Our person-centred planning meetings and processes are co-produced with the people we support and their families to promote a unified approach.
- We set meaningful and inspirational goals, which Support Workers have a particular responsibility to work towards.
- This will provide you with a great experience to develop skills for a career in adult social care.
