We are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to join our growing domiciliary care team in Essex. You’ll play a key part in ensuring service users receive safe, effective care while also supporting and developing care staff across the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Coordinate and manage care staff rotas efficiently using electronic rostering systems.
- Ensure all care visits are covered and respond promptly to emergency changes.
- Responding to safeguarding concerns and service issues.
- Conduct spot checks, competency assessments, and quality assurance visits.
- Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and regularly reviewed.
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Care Coordinator or Senior Care Coordinator.
- Strong understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding.
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a varied workload.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required).
- £28,000 - £30,000 salary (depending on experience).
