Your role as a care assistant in Pimlico

You will visit customers at home and provide support based on their care plans. For example, you might help someone get dressed, prepare a meal or go shopping. You will also offer friendly company and help them stay connected with their local community.

Your tasks may include:

  • Helping with washing and dressing.
  • Shopping and preparing meals.
  • Prompting customers to take medication, as set out in their care plans.
  • Supporting daily routines.
  • Providing respite support for family carers.
  • Helping customers enjoy hobbies, outings and social activities.

Throughout each visit, you will encourage customers to do what they can for themselves. This helps them maintain their skills and confidence.

  • Committed to providing a high standard of care.

You must live in or near Pimlico and be able to travel to customers' homes.
