A highly reputable, long-established home care business in Eastleigh, covering the Winchester & Eastleigh area, seeks a Registered Care Manager to start as soon as possible.
Summary of role
To generate and promote a caring and supportive environment for our clients by implementing the highest standards of professional care and support. To manage a team of staff and encourage their development, skills and abilities. The successful applicant will have experience in domiciliary care, ideally in a management capacity, and already hold the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or be prepared to work towards it).
Principal responsibilities
- Ensure that the business’s Aims & Objectives are achieved and that each client receives care and support which is appropriate to their individual needs.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of all relevant legislation and regulatory body guidance.
- Ensure effective induction, training, and supervision of all staff, and identify any further development or training needs, liaising with the Field Care Supervisor.
- Ensure effective communication and team building amongst all staff, including holding regular team meetings.
- Ensure the successful operation of quality control and risk management systems.
- Ensure that all records are up to date.
- Liaise with clients, relatives, representatives and social workers.
- Actively participate in the growth and development of the business locally through various marketing exercises.
