All Support Workers are fully trained, mentored and guided to ensure excellence is delivered and our clients receive consistent support by their team of regular Support Workers.

Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield are recruiting for FEMALE Support Workers to support our clients who receive NIGHT support within their home to enable their families to receive respite time. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 – Schedule 9, Part 1. Female applicants only.
The night time visits are typically 10-12 hours per night, supporting on a one-to-one basis. The successful applicant will be required to work on a consistent 3-week rolling rota where they will be expected to also work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
This post will involve supporting children with clinical complex care needs which include tracheostomy care, ventilation support and PEG feeding.
This is a WAKING NIGHT POSITION, requiring the successful candidate to remain awake throughout the shift to provide continuous observation, monitoring, and responsive clinical support to our client.
It is really important within this role to be reliable, punctual and be able to build professional relationships with clients, families and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients with their clinical and personal care during the night
- Continuous overnight monitoring and observation
- Supporting safe tracheostomy care and responding to clinical needs throughout the night
- Reporting and documenting clinical observations and alerting the necessary persons in the event of an emergency
As a clinical Support Worker you will be trained in all aspects of clinical support for your client in line with Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield Training Academy. Throughout your role, our Clinical Lead nurses, Case leaders and management team will provide ongoing support, guidance and training to ensure you are fully competent and successful within your role.
