The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Salary: £12.80 -£13.80 per hour plus Travel Time paid at NMW and Mileage Pay 40p per mile.
Hours: Full Time/Part Time/Morning(7AM-2PM)/Evening(4PM-6PM)

We are looking for compassionate individuals who can provide exceptional care and support to clients in and around Winchester and Eastleigh.

About the role

You will be providing a great deal of companionship and support to our customers, which will include helping them with daily living activities, such as making drinks, cooking, food shopping, helping with personal hygiene, administrating medication, tidying around the home and helping with pets. Every day will be different, and you’ll meet people from every walk of life, hear some amazing stories and learn along the way!

This Role Requires:

A valid UK driving license and your own vehicle.

  • Cluster rounds for efficient scheduling, keeping your calls close together!
  • Enhanced rate of pay of time and half on Bank holidays!
  • Travel Time paid at NMW as well as 40p per mile fuel allowance
  • £250 for referring a friend
  • Early Pay access – withdraw up to 25% of your earnings
  • Eligibility for a Blue Light Card
  • 28 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays (pro‑rate)
  • Opportunities to gain an NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Free DBS and uniform
  • Full training and support from day one to ensure you are fully prepared
  • Open‑door policy: feel free to stop by the office for a chat, a cup of tea, or to speak with a Care Coordinator/Supervisor

Key Responsibilities & Daily Activities:

  • Providing personal care services
  • Manual handling, using equipment where necessary
  • Promoting health and wellbeing for clients
  • Offering companionship and assistance with appointments and activities
  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with shopping and domestic tasks
  • Keeping accurate records of care visits

What You Need to Work for Caremark:

  • Full and valid UK driving license
  • Access to a car (mileage and Travel time paid!)
  • Right to work in the UK (we cannot provide sponsorship)
  • Availability to work every other weekend or at least one day per weekend
  • No experience required – full training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Ability to form professional relationships and work well with colleagues
  • A warm, kind, empathetic, and reliable approach to supporting others
