Caremark Portsmouth & Havant is seeking a Registered Care Manager to lead quality and compliance of our brand‑new office in Portsmouth. You will be fully supported by the business owner, as well as full backing from the franchisor who has more than 20 years of successful sector experience. The support team includes: a dedicated Quality Manager, Regional Support Manager, Training & Compliance team, IT & Rostering team and more. The infrastructure is there. What we need is the right Care Manager to bring it to life.
The Role
As our Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered consistently
- Ensuring compliance with CQC, Legislation and Industry Standards
- Recruiting, developing and leading a care team that shares your values and commitment to excellence
- Delivering training that genuinely prepares your team to provide outstanding care
- Building strong relationships with customers, families, local authorities and agencies
- Overseeing the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office, ensuring your team has everything they need to do their jobs brilliantly, whilst creating a culture where people choose to stay.
About You
You will have previous experience as a Registered Care Manager within a domiciliary care setting, along with an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. (We are accepting candidates with Level 3 and will fund Level 5 for the right candidate.)
But beyond the credentials, you will be someone for whom "good enough" simply is not good enough. You bring integrity, honesty, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of the people you support. You are highly organised, a strong and empathetic leader, and someone who holds yourself and your team to the highest possible standards.
