About the Role
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a supportive and nurturing environment for both staff and residents. Your role will involve managing care plans, medication administration, and supervising the care team to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the care facility, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and well-being.
- Conduct regular assessments of staff performance and provide training opportunities to enhance skills.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and best practices in senior care.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years proven experience in a managerial role within the senior care sector or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Background in nursing or home care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with assisted living regulations and best practices in medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff alike.
