Hours: 24 hours/Weekly Rotation
As a Live-In Care Worker, you will support customers in their own homes, delivering personalised care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence. You will live in the customer’s home and provide support with daily living tasks, based on an agreed care plan developed between the customer, their family (where appropriate), and Caremark. The support you provide should reflect the level of care a trusted family member might give — always maintaining professionalism, respect, and clear professional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care, including washing, bathing, and dressing
- Shopping and meal planning/preparation
- Medication prompting and monitoring
- Supporting daily routines and wellbeing
- Providing respite support for families
- Supporting social activities and hobbies
- Supporting customers to access the community safely
- Light domestic duties to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
You will also be expected to:
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
- Record care accurately and in line with company and CQC standards
- Report changes in customer wellbeing promptly
- Work in partnership with families, healthcare professionals, and the Caremark office team
