About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Bookings Coordinator to join our busy agency team. You will be responsible for managing client bookings, allocating staff, and ensuring shifts are filled accurately and efficiently. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and manage booking requests from clients
  • Allocate suitable staff to shifts in line with compliance and client requirements
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with candidates to confirm availability and shift details
  • Handle last‐minute changes, cancellations, and urgent bookings
  • Build strong relationships with clients and agency workers
  • Work closely with recruitment, compliance, and payroll teams

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience (bookings or scheduling desirable)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to remain calm and solution‐focused under pressure
  • Competent IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Experience within healthcare, social care, or staffing agencies
  • Experience managing high-volume or last-minute bookings
