The Opportunity

As our Registered Home Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the home, creating a positive, supportive culture where residents receive exceptional care and colleagues are empowered to thrive. You'll have the autonomy to lead your service while benefiting from the support of our experienced senior leadership team, Directors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, PBS Practitioners, Therapy Assistants, Quality Assurance Team, and Internal Recruitment Team. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident leader who can successfully balance compassionate care with strong operational and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management and performance of the home.
  • Inspire, develop and support your team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Ensure the home consistently meets regulatory and quality standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources and contracts effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and service development.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to support the future growth of the home.
  • Participate in the shared out-of-hours on-call rota.
  • Provide clinical nursing cover when required to support the service.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Current NMC Registration (Registered Nurse) - this is an essential requirement for the role.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager.
  • Experience managing nursing and/or complex care services.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and sound decision-making ability.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A caring, compassionate and trustworthy approach.
