About The Role
As a Maintenance Operative at Careline Lifestyles, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the premises are safe and well-maintained by conducting daily inspections for any potential Health and Safety hazards
  • Keeping an electronic maintenance log and ensuring all issues are reported and addressed in a timely manner
  • Verifying all tasks with the Manager, except in the case of emergencies
  • Ensuring lights, particularly bulbs, are working properly throughout the premises
  • Maintaining tidy gardens, yards, and fire exit areas, especially during poor weather conditions
  • Checking and maintaining hot water and heating systems
  • Regularly carrying out painting jobs, including \'touching up\' areas as needed
  • Inspecting drains and gutters weekly to ensure proper functioning
  • Organising and testing fire equipment, hoists, lifts, boilers, air conditioners, and other equipment
  • Carrying out weekly fire drills and documenting findings in the Fire Drill Log Book
  • Keeping all records up to date and notifying the Administrator/Directors of any potential hazards for further action
  • Being flexible and adaptable to new tasks and responsibilities as required by the company

About The Role
