About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Transport Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting regional staff between Newcastle and Harbottle (Northumberland), ensuring safe, comfortable, and punctual travel to and from work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport Careline staff between specified locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain daily vehicle logs, mileage records, and report any defects or issues immediately
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
  • Promote a calm, friendly, and professional environment during travel
  • Be flexible and responsive to scheduling needs based on service demand

About you

  • A full UK manual driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with no more than 3 penalty points)
  • Previous driving experience preferred
  • A people-focused, positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability between Monday and Sunday (specific shift patterns discussed at interview)
