Please note: This role involves supporting adults who may display behaviours that challenge. Experience with complex needs is advantageous, but full training will be provided.


The Role


Location: Bowes Court, Evenwood, Bishop Auckland, DL14 9RE


Pay Rate: Β£13.04 per hour


Job Type: Permanent


As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to the people living in our service, helping them build independence, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.


You could be supporting someone with their daily routine, accessing the community, taking part in activities, developing life skills or simply providing reassurance when they need it.


Your Key Duties


You will be responsible for:



  • Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans

  • Supporting with daily living activities and personal care where required

  • Promoting independence, choice, dignity and inclusion

  • Building positive and trusting relationships

  • Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge

  • Encouraging participation in activities and community engagement

  • Supporting individuals to develop life skills and confidence

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

  • Working positively with colleagues, families and other professionals

Previous care or support work experience is desirable, but not essential.


No Experience? No Problem!


Full training is provided, including our 7-day fully paid induction programme through Careline Academy.
