We are looking for an experienced, kind-hearted person to join us as a Senior Care Assistant in York and surrounding areas. If you are already a Field Care Supervisor, or an experienced Care Assistant looking for career progression, then this is the role for you.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our care management team in York to manage client care and support our care professionals. You must have a full UK driving licence and your own car and be keen to make a genuine difference to our clients' lives.

Benefits:

  • Guaranteed hours contract with a minimum 30 hours per week
  • High pay rate of £13.50 to £14.50 per hour
  • Double time on bank holidays and other designated holiday days
  • Paid travel time at your standard hourly rate
  • Paid mileage at the full allowance of 45p per mile

Responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding care and support to our clients in their own homes
  • Supporting, supervising and assessing new and existing care professionals
  • Supporting the care management team with assessments and client reviews
  • Participating in quality assurance reviews and other audit and control initiatives
  • Contributing to on-call

  • Full UK driving licence
