The Role
As the lead carer on shift, you will ensure the safety and clinical stability of a child or adult with complex needs. Example, some of your duties may include the following:
- Advanced Care: Managing tracheostomy care, BiPAP, oxygen monitoring, and oral suction.
- Nutritional Support: Managing PEG/JEG feeding and administering medication.
- Emergency Care: Monitoring for seizures and administering rescue medication.
- Family Liaison: We pride ourselves on building trusting relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
