About the Role
We areseeking experienced and compassionatePaediatricComplex Carers to support various on-going and verycomplexpaediatricclients as part of care packages within the family home. This role is focused on Long days and night shifts, providing high-level clinical and personal care to ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.
You will work alongside other trained carers and/or nurses, delivering consistent and responsive care in a supportive home environment.This is a highly rewarding role suited to someone who is calm, attentive, and clinically confident in managing complexairwayand medical needs overnight.
Required Competencies & Experience
Applicants must be trained and confident in the following:
- Tracheostomy care
- Tracheal and oral suctioning
- Oxygen therapy (night care)
- Seizure management
- Gastro-jejunal (GJ) feeding
- Medication administration
- Stoma care
- Manual handling
