Care First Recruitment Ltd. are currently seeking experienced Business Support Officers, with previous Local Authority experience, to work in Central London / West London councils.

Job Duties:

  • You will be the first point of contact for enquiries to designated teams from members of the public and other staff members.
  • You will have to maintain systems and processes.
  • Organising the logistics and actively contributing to team meetings, service meetings.
  • Input personal data onto the system and ensure all information is accurate.
  • The role includes scanning, filing and distribution of documents.
  • To deal with telephone enquiries, emails and letters from members of the public in a professional manner.
  • Minute taking.

Essentials:

  • Very good levels of Literacy.
  • Able to understand and follow instructions & policies.

You are required to have a minimum of 2 years' experience with a Local Authority.

Hourly rate: depending on experience and the Local Authority, range: Β£14 to Β£18 p/hr.

For most roles you will need either a Basic or an Enhanced DBS (checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service).

Job Type: Temporary contract.

Contract length: 3 months (may be extended).

Pay: Approx. Β£14.00-Β£18.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 36 per week.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Experience: Customer service in a Local Authority: 2 years (required).

Licence/Certification: Basic or Enhanced DBS certificate (required).

Ability to Commute: London (required).

Work Location: In person.
