I'm working exclusively with a global IT services and digital transformation consultancy that is looking to appoint an Account Director to drive strategic growth across the UK Public Sector.
This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of a high-value portfolio, with a particular focus on
DWP and Defra .
If you've successfully built relationships, won major programmes, and know how these departments buy technology and consulting services, I'd be keen to speak with you.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for DWP and/or Defra.
- Build, manage and grow executive-level relationships across key stakeholders.
- Identify, shape and close large, complex IT services and digital transformation opportunities.
- Work closely with delivery, pre-sales and leadership teams to create compelling client propositions.
- Consistently exceed revenue and margin targets.
What we're looking for
- A proven track record of winning new business within
DWP and/or Defra .
- Experience selling IT services, consulting, digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, application services or managed services.
- Strong understanding of UK Public Sector procurement frameworks and sales cycles.
- An established network of senior decision-makers within the departments.
- A strategic, consultative sales approach with a history of closing multi-million-pound engagements.
