We're seeking a Salesforce Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise-wide data ecosystem, transforming siloed data into a modern, scalable Lakehouse architecture that drives business insights, analytics, and AI innovation.
The Opportunity
- Design and implement unified data models across customer, product, and financial domains
- Lead the evolution of our Databricks Lakehouse architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers
- Define data architecture connecting Salesforce (CRM), Sage Intacct (ERP), and product telemetry data
- Establish golden record standards, master data management, and data governance frameworks
- Improve data quality, consistency, and trust across the organisation
- Enable end-to-end Lead-to-Cash visibility through integrated CRM and ERP data
- Develop scalable data onboarding and integration strategies for acquisitions and M&A activity
- Support AI/ML, analytics, and Business Intelligence initiatives through robust data foundations
- Drive modern engineering practices including Data-as-Code, CI/CD, and event-driven architectures
Must Have
- 5+ years' experience in a Senior Data Architect role
- Strong expertise with Databricks and Lakehouse architectures
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data models across multiple business systems
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture and integration patterns
- Experience with cloud ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or Workday
- Strong SQL, data modelling (ERD), and data transformation expertise
- Proven experience with data governance, data quality, and master data management
- Experience delivering data integration and migration strategies within M&A environments
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog and Medallion architecture design patterns
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
