We are hiring a Data Architect to define, design, and evolve enterprise data architecture across modern cloud and lakehouse platforms. You will translate business, analytics, and AI requirements into robust data models, integration patterns, platform standards, and governance controls that create trusted, reusable data assets. This is a senior technical leadership role with architecture ownership: you will shape data architecture principles, guide design reviews, collaborate with engineering and analytics teams, and make practical trade-offs across data modelling, integration, governance, performance, security, cost, and operational resilience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design enterprise-wide data architecture and strategy
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Design lakehouse, data warehouse, and data product architectures
  • Define data integration patterns for batch, streaming, APIs, and event-driven solutions
  • Establish data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, and security standards
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable cloud data platforms
  • Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, standards, and best practices

  • Databricks, Spark & Lakehouse Technologies
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse
  • Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms
  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview & Data Governance
  • SQL, Semantic Models & Dimensional Modelling
  • Data Integration (Batch, Streaming, APIs & Event-Driven)
  • Metadata, Lineage, Master Data & Data Quality
  • CI/CD, Git & Infrastructure as Code for Data Platforms
  • Experience supporting Analytics, Reporting & AI solutions

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Azure Certifications (DP-203, DP-600, AZ-305, AI-102)
  • Databricks Certifications
  • TOGAF, DAMA, or other Data Architecture certifications
