This lovely community family run independent practice are seeking a new vet to join them on their veterinary journey. They are a small supportive team who enjoy working together and sharing their thoughts and ideas. This is a well equipped diagnostic orientated practice. They have a full Idexx in-house lab, ultrasound (4 probes), perform laparoscopic surgery, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, DR dental radiography, DR radiography and everything else you can think of or desire!
The senior vet is a certificate holder in diagnostic imaging with a special interest in surgery and happy to mentor and support less experienced colleagues. The right candidate will enjoy working as part of a team (5 vets) and will be confident with routine surgery and consults. You will be a vet who understands that treating pets involves looking after people too, and who wants to work in a friendly, supportive team while maintaining a good work/life balance.
Full time permanent job (flexible working encouraged!) 4 day working week with 1:3 Saturday mornings. Salary commensurate with experience, pension scheme, CPD encouraged and supported, further benefits available.
