About the Role
As a Group Risk Consultant, you’ll be the go-to expert for our clients, delivering advice on a range of Group Risk products, including GLA, GCIC, and GIP. You’ll manage the full client journey, from initial enquiry through to renewals, while also supporting internal teams and building long-term partnerships with providers and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice via phone or video (MS Teams) on Group Risk solutions
- Identify additional protection needs for businesses and key employees
- Oversee renewals, ensure compliance, and process documentation
- Support the key account team with technical queries
- Maintain strong relationships with referral partners and insurers
- Keep up-to-date with market trends, propositions, and best practices
- Meet performance targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a Group Risk Advice role
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- RO1 and RO5 qualifications
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, collaborative, and solution-driven mindset
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: £30,000-£36,000 (depending on experience and grading)
- Performance Bonus: Up to 37.5% of base salary per half-year period (based on business levels placed on risk)
- Quality Bonuses:
- 2.5% of salary for meeting conduct & compliance benchmarks
- 2.5% of salary for maintaining high client retention
Working Pattern
Hybrid working is supported, with some time expected at our Reigate office but can be fully remote. Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
