The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of finance and business management concepts such as P&L structures, revenue recognition, and cost allocation.

Working closely with Finance, IT, and Business Line stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of operational and financial data, supporting month-end processes, and contributing to the reporting that underpins business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Operations & Engagement Management
  • Support the management of client engagements within the business’s resource management platform (Kimble), ensuring records are accurate, complete, and aligned with contractual documentation.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new engagements, including the validation of key commercial and operational data prior to activation.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues across engagements, escalating system or process issues to IT and relevant third parties as needed.
  • Process revenue adjustments and maintain an understanding of the different scenarios in which these are required.
  • Month‑End & Financial Support
  • Support end‑of‑month revenue submissions and cost allocation reviews, ensuring data is accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Provide P&L support, including the preparation of cost files, capital expenditure submissions, and review of cost of sales items.
  • Manage billing processes across multiple engagement types and billing cycles, maintaining trackers to give Finance visibility of invoicing status.
  • Verify monthly accrual reports and support the review and accrual of variable compensation such as commissions.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the business’s core operational systems, ensuring data is complete, consistent, and reliable for downstream reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain system reference data and configuration to support accurate reporting and operational workflows.
  • Flag data errors and process issues, working collaboratively with IT and third‑party providers to remediate and improve processes.
  • Contribute to the wider Business Data Team reporting library, including pipeline, headcount, and self‑service dashboards.
  • Process Improvement & Business Support
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across revenue operations and month‑end workflows.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, IT, HR, and Business Line teams to support operational objectives.
  • Prepare reporting materials and data summaries for senior stakeholders as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a business operations, data, or finance support role, ideally within financial services or professional services.
  • Solid understanding of core financial concepts including P&L structures, revenue recognition, cost allocation, and billing processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and data manipulation.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining accuracy across high‑volume, deadline‑driven processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders and collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach with a proven ability to take ownership of processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with resource management or PS platforms such as Kimble (Kantata) or similar.
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualisation and reporting tools.
