This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services Delta Capita offers. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have change-management experience and prior success as a senior consultant or in a change role in a financial services institution.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Management of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders and client accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm.
- Support Project Managers and Business Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC’s values.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to support the development of campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC’s Consulting practice.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of consulting expertise.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC intellectual property.
Qualifications
- Proven consulting experience or alternatively in project management or business analysis within financial services.
- Change-management experience: strategy, design, analysis, project management, build testing, go-live.
- Understanding of financial services products and lifecycle events.
- Some experience managing small projects, supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
- Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants (sell-side, buy-side, market infrastructure, etc.).
- Background as a management consultant or in a change role within a financial services institution, with a blend of financial services knowledge and strong soft skills across influence, listening, presentation, and team management.
- Comfortable working independently and managing own workload with minimal supervision.
- Responsibility for helping grow the business by supporting ongoing operations and RFPs.
It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following
- Experience of working in financial services regulation.
- Experience of working in an agile environment with Agile certifications.
- Experience of working across technology and system upgrades.
Expectations regarding Hybrid Working
As a service-provider and consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office aligns with the clients’ policies and expectations. Most clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home, and this is the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
This is a permanent full-time position located in London. For this role, a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.
