Introduction
Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of careers guidance and support across Wales? Careers Wales is seeking a Director of Service Delivery to drive innovation, champion strategic transformation, and deliver sector-leading services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
In this role you would:
- Provide clear, strategic leadership and collaborate across all areas of the company
- Drive continuous business improvement and future-proof our operating models
- Represent Careers Wales nationally and beyond, building influential relationships with stakeholders
- Champion the Welsh language and lead on the Welsh Language strategy whilst contributing to Cymraeg 2050
- Oversee the delivery of our Strategic Equality Plan and foster a culture of safeguarding
- Ensure our strategies support Welsh Government aims for social inclusion and wellbeing
Welsh Language Requirements:
Careers Wales is a bilingual organisation and Welsh language skills are considered an asset to the organisation. We encourage and support staff to learn, develop and use their Welsh language skills in the workplace. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Successful candidates who are not Welsh speakers will be expected to actively work towards developing these skills.
