We are recruiting four Trainee Business Engagement Advisers/ Business Engagement Advisers. Do you enjoy working in partnership with businesses and employers? Salary: £30,993 per annum (Trainee Business Engagement Adviser); £32,262 - £37,330 (Qualified Business Engagement Adviser)

Hours of work: Full time, 37 hours a week although applicants who wish to work on a part time basis (minimum 3 days per week) would also be considered.

VACANCY INFORMATION:
As a Trainee/Business Engagement Adviser, you will help inform, inspire, and motivate young people about their career opportunities working on our Tailored Work Experience Programme. Your skills as a Trainee/Business Engagement Adviser will help:
- Change the attitudes of pupils to education
- Motivate young people to study harder and potentially achieve better grades
- Influence pupils’ career plans and subject choices
- Bring areas of the curriculum to life
- Help young people make links between their lessons and world of work
- Raise awareness of the range of career opportunities available and how to access them
- Introduce young people to inspiring role models
- Challenge career limiting beliefs around gender, race, and disability
Trainee / Business Engagement Advisers working in these roles will be working specifically on the Tailored Work Experience project, liaising with schools, learners and employers to arrange ongoing work placements for young people. The successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills to liaise with employers and colleagues ensuring all employer engagement services are coordinated, recorded and managed accordingly. The ability to speak and work through the medium of Welsh is desirable.
Candidates for Trainee Business Engagement Adviser should be educated to degree level or equivalent standard such as professional qualifications or have demonstrable experience of liaising and dealing with employers. If appointed as a trainee you will be supported to complete the Level 6 Diploma in Business Engagement. Candidates for the Qualified Business Engagement position must possess the Level 6 Diploma in Business Engagement.
