Developing our profile on social media is the aim of this volunteer role. We seek a volunteer with experience in marketing and communications, including the development of communications through social media utilising LinkedIn.
What difference will you make? We want to become more well known within the community and more widely. Currently, our beneficiaries find us through recommendation or referral. We want to utilise social media to expand our visibility, relevance and impact in order to attract more job seekers to our weekly virtual Zoom meetings. Unemployment can be isolating. It can damage confidence and self-esteem, impacting not only the financial but emotional stability of those involved. We have the capacity to support more people through our services. Your work with social media would enable us to do that by increasing awareness. The success of your social media efforts would be visible weekly as more job seekers join us and benefit from our services.
Careers Springboard will expect our volunteer social media volunteer to work with the other volunteers in our social media team creating engaging content on a weekly basis, creating a marketing plan for our LinkedIn content, liaising with trustees and others within the Careers Springboard charity. Experience and understanding of how social media can work successfully for a small charity such as Careers Springboard will be a major advantage for applicants.
