Overview
Careers Springboard is a registered charity that helps managers, professionals and graduates to find employment. We are adding a LinkedIn Specialist with at least three years of experience to our LinkedIn team to enable our job seekers to improve their use of LinkedIn. All services are free.
Responsibilities
- Teach job seekers how to optimise their LinkedIn profile so they are found by recruiters, hiring organisations and people in their network.
- Show how to use LinkedIn search functionality to build networks, target employers and find relevant groups and pages.
- Develop and maintain a strong LinkedIn presence.
- Explore the LinkedIn Jobs board, alerts, filters and other features.
- Conduct one‑hour coaching sessions via Zoom; each session lasts up to 45 minutes. Sessions may be requested one to two times a week depending on job seeker demand.
- Provide follow‑up coaching sessions as agreed with job seekers.
Qualifications
- Has at least three years of proven expertise and knowledge of LinkedIn.
- Has demonstrable evidence of helping people enhance their LinkedIn profile and maximise their use of LinkedIn services.
- Is based in the United Kingdom.
- Is able to commit to variable time demands and availability; time commitment will vary on demand and availability.
- Is prepared to provide LinkedIn coaching sessions online primarily via Zoom.
Commitment and Location
The role will be fully online. Applicants must be located in the UK; all coaching and sessions will take place over Zoom. Applications are accepted through the Careers Springboard volunteer portal.
