Responsibilities:

  • Write and submit grant and funding proposals to organisations that support registered charities.
  • Work closely with the Executive Committee and act as an aspiring Trustee.
  • Focus on securing approximately £3,000 in annual funding to meet operational commitments.
  • Complete grant applications from home, dedicating 2‑3 hours per week on a computer.
  • Attend approximately 20% of weekly Monday‑evening virtual Zoom meetings to stay informed of Trustee activities and job‑search support initiatives.
  • Optionally attend occasional face‑to‑face meetings in Gerrards Cross if residing within 25 miles.

Qualifications:

  • Experience searching for and compiling successful grant/funding applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while working remotely.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in crafting proposals and reports.
  • Commitment to supporting job seekers and contributing to a non‑profit charity.
