Overview

A major public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Developer to join its digital transformation and innovation team. You will play a pivotal role in developing, integrating, and enhancing Microsoft 365-based solutions that directly support strategic priorities and service improvements. Salary: Up to £47,712 (dependent on experience). Contract: 12-month fixed term. Location: Hybrid – office and homeworking. What you’ll be doing

  • Designing, developing, and implementing new digital systems and enhancements to existing services.
  • Working on both front-end and back-end solutions, including integration with enterprise systems and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Supporting the Senior M365 Developer with impact assessments, vendor roadmap reviews, and planning work packages to mitigate risks.
  • Driving efficiencies through automation, improved workflows, and innovative use of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools.
  • Producing technical documentation and user guides, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.

  • Practical experience developing with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Understanding of on-premise and cloud-hosted Windows Server environments and Azure service components.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level data structures such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft SQL, and Dataverse.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • A collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and a customer service focus.
  • Desire and ambition to continually develop skills and keep pace with evolving technology.
