Job Summary: The Digital E-Commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing e-commerce marketing strategies, optimising the online shopping experience, and driving customer acquisition and retention. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creative marketing, and technical e-commerce expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Management: Oversee and optimise the company’s e-commerce website (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) to enhance user experience and maximise conversions. Manage product listings, pricing, and promotions to increase sales and profitability. Monitor and improve website performance, ensuring mobile optimisation and a seamless checkout experience.
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising. Create and manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other platforms. Implement and refine SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones through targeted marketing campaigns. Utilise email marketing, loyalty programmes, and personalised content to increase customer engagement and lifetime value. Analyse customer behaviour and feedback to improve the overall shopping experience.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse website traffic, conversion rates, and digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics. Generate insights and recommendations based on data analysis to refine marketing strategies. Track ROI on marketing efforts and optimise budget allocation for maximum impact.
- Collaboration & Team Coordination: Work closely with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure a cohesive brand presence across digital platforms. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business goals. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging e-commerce technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce management.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
