AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately fill the role of Lead Equipment Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time position in Virginia Beach, VA.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
- Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
- Execute minor vending equipment repairs
- Remove outdated and unused equipment
- Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
- Build and maintain client and customer relationships
- Order parts needed to complete repairs
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
- Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
- Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
