AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Equipment Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time position in Virginia Beach, VA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area
  • Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment
  • Execute minor vending equipment repairs
  • Remove outdated and unused equipment
  • Test vending equipment to ensure proper function
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment
  • Build and maintain client and customer relationships
  • Order parts needed to complete repairs

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
  • Previous experience in the repair of automated vending and merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers
  • Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when needed
