This is a Business Development Manager role within a recruitment agency. To be eligible, you must have BD experience within a recruitment agency environment or have been a 360 Consultant, with a focus on Blue Collar recruitment and/or Supply Chain.
This role will involve on-site client visits and a mix of office/home working. The agency has a number of UK offices, but the preference is to be in the Yorkshire area as this is where the line manager is based.
Main Accountabilities:- Developing and implementing sales strategy
- Sales activity to meet GM budget
- Industry and market knowledge
- Internal collaboration
- Database management
- Contribute ideas to and implement a sales strategy aligned to business objectives and dedicated division/geographical area
- Attend relevant industry and networking events
- Outbound marketing activities aligned to strategies, and relevant to Division/Region (Walk on/area mapping, emails, calls, LinkedIn etc.)
- Organise and attend client engagement events to secure new business (e.g. entertaining clients at football)
- Effective use of tools and technology available to support building relationships and developing a personal brand aligned to company values (e.g. Paiger, LinkedIn)
- Previous experience in a 360 recruitment position or full-time sales role
- Demonstrable experience of managing a sales pipeline to exceed activity and revenue targets relative to the role
- Understanding of sales process and buying motives in a recruitment setting
- Drive, ambition, and resilience to succeed in a sales role
- Learning oriented and coachable
- Work to a consistently high standard, minimising errors
- Understand the business’ needs and priorities, prioritising daily workload accordingly
