We are actively looking on behalf of our client for a Studio Manager to join this award-winning interior design and architecture studio based in Surrey, just inside the M25. You will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of a very busy high-end Studio who work with High Net-Worth Individuals and Boutique Hoteliers. Clients regularly come to the office so you will need to be adept at meeting and greeting, serving refreshments and lunches.
Your duties will include:
- Management of the IT cloud-based system and providing support for basic IT needs
- Management of all insurance policy requirements and software policies
- Management of the importing and exporting of goods, handling deliveries, organising staff vehicles and booking overseas travel
- Providing PA support, practice systems, including timesheets, templates, work scheduling, checklists, and protocols, and maintaining databases
- Responsible for the smooth running of the wider building in close contact with the landlord and lease renewals, plus managing the office move upon lease expiry
- Supporting general HSE compliance; risk assessments, first aid supplies, fire & first aid safety procedures etc.
- Management of small item leases and office stock purchasing
- Christmas party planning and other general events
Skills and Experience needed from the Studio Manager:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent record keeping and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, technical and experience with basic IT support
- Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Trustworthy and reliable
- An interest in interior design a plus
