We are actively looking on behalf of our client for a new mid-weight interior architect to join this award-winning interior design and architecture studio based in Surrey, just inside the M25. You will be working as part of a team on both UK and international projects from concept through to completion across all project phases. Projects will be innovative and luxurious high-end designs for the residential market, boutique hotels and high-net-worth clientele.
The main duties will include:
- Creating CAD technical drawing packages
- Producing detailed internal architectural drawings
- Producing schedules
- Researching and creating presentations and sample boards for all interior architectural fixtures and finishes
- Leading client and contractor meetings and liaising with suppliers
Skills and Experience Required from the Interior Architect:
- 3 to 4+ years of post-graduate experience in luxury residential design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite
- Technical drawing skills along with technical understanding of the full design process
- Capable of project monitoring from concept to completion
- Good problem-solving skills, thinking on your feet but being commercially minded
- Knowledge of bespoke cabinetry, bathroom and FF&E finishes
- A full, clean driving licence for site visits
