Our client is an award-winning, growing company with craft at the core of their designs. Each piece is hand-made to order using traditional joinery techniques and the finest materials, ensuring it is built to last a lifetime. They are currently seeking a Furniture Design Technician with the potential for the position to develop into so much more for the right person.
This will have involvement in the finer details of furniture manufacture, design, detailed drawings, procurement and installation. You will be working on bespoke fitted kitchens, tables, dressing rooms and home bars.
Your work as a Furniture Design Technician will involve:
- Using AutoCAD for technical drawings and design work
- Facilitating the development of sign-off, setting out, procurement and production of furniture, including cabinetry, metal elements, stone elements and other custom materials and features
- Liaising with the sales team and project managers
Skills and Experience needed for the Furniture Design Technician:
- A good understanding of high-end custom furniture from the KBB sector
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience
- Fluent in 2D AutoCAD
- A proactive person with a 'self-starter' attitude and strong time-management skills
- Happy to travel to sites nationwide
Salary on offer will be between £30k and £37k plus pension.
